Alex J. Parker is the founder and managing partner of Rose Cay. He developed the vision for an investment platform that is both tactical and disciplined, investing across capital structures to unlock value by building best-in-class teams. Mr. Parker led Rose Cay’s major entry into maritime transport with the purchase and operation of a Jones Act fleet of barges and tugboats within the Fortune-100 energy supply chain. Under his leadership, Rose Cay also successfully incubated and launched a Class-8 truck leasing business, further expanding the firm’s footprint in essential industries. Bringing an entrepreneurial spirit and a track record as a real asset professional with deep operating experience, Mr. Parker creates innovative strategies to deploy capital into complex sectors. His expertise spans transaction origination, structuring, institutional outreach, and complex operations. Mr. Parker began his career at Aircastle Limited, where he served on the airline coverage and trading team, investing over $1 billion in commercial jet aircraft. He is a former Partner of Parker Infrastructure Partners, LLC, an institutional infrastructure investment firm. Mr. Parker holds a B.B.A. with dual concentrations in Finance and Organization Management from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Beyond his professional work, he is a Member of YPO New York Metro and a long-standing Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
