He previously served as a foundational leader at Rose Cay Maritime, where he recruited a 130-person team and upscaled a fleet of Jones Act tankers. Under his leadership, the fleet underwent significant refurbishment and established an industry-leading culture of regulatory compliance and safety. Prior to Rose Cay, Mr. Parrot spent 18 years in senior leadership roles within Saltchuk, including serving as President of TOTE Maritime and the inaugural CEO of Foss Maritime. An expert in the construction of innovative vessels—including LNG-powered and bunkering ships—he has earned a reputation for leading transformational change and improving operational performance in the U.S. Jones Act market. His career is distinguished by his ability to lead teams through complex corporate challenges and his service on several industry boards, including an appointment to the Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council. Mr. Parrot holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and an M.B.A. from Seattle University.
