Wesley Jacobs

Wesley Jacobs is a Managing Director at Rose Cay, where he is responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of energy investments. In this role, he leads the firm’s diligence and underwriting efforts, interfacing with strategic partners and capital providers to advance opportunities from inception through close. Prior to joining Rose Cay, Mr. Jacobs served in a diverse set of leadership roles at ExxonMobil, EDF Renewables North America (EDFR), and Invenergy over a 23-year career based in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, at Invenergy, he served as Vice President of Offshore Development and Project Director for the Leading Light Wind project, where he secured a 2,400 MW, 20-year power offtake contract with the state of New Jersey. Previously, at EDF Renewables, he led supply-chain localization and port infrastructure strategy for the Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind joint venture with Shell. During his 18 years at ExxonMobil, Mr. Jacobs managed major global capital projects and corporate business development, gaining extensive experience in large-scale project execution and risk management across international borders. Mr. Jacobs holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Global Energy Executive MBA from the University of Houston.
